My Cabbage Mess

So this is the last of my cabbage. I am the only one to eat the cabbage since my mom stopped eating cabbage due to her thyroid condition, and it takes me 3 different meals to finish it up. Not bad at all.

Today's lunch did not include any rice. I had the remaining 1/4 cabbage, 1/2 of that red cili and some of the frozen mixed veggies instead. Chopped and washed them, and then put them all in a bowl at the top of the rice cooker with a small dash of soy sauce just for fun. I did not add any water to it because cabbages have high water content by itself.

The result is a dish that I have no regrets. The natural sweetness of the ingredients, of the vegetables themselves, are more than enough to make me happy.

This dish may also have an alternative way of cooking, which is by stir frying. If you stirfry, you will definitely use oil and some flavouring. I avoided this today because of the lack of time and because I wanted the original taste of the vegetables.
