Old Cucumber Soup

Oh yes, it is soup time today. Have no appetite for too much food, but lunch is inevitable. So I decided to make some soup instead, without any rice, just to keep my stomach occupied. I don't really need that much energy anyway.

So here are the ingredients. You may notice that I have potatoes whenever I make soup. Yes, potatoes can be soup anything, in place of any meat. In fact, a vegetarian soup like that tastes more delicious than using meat for cooking. Ah yes, and carrots too.

All three ingredients above are refreshingly nutritious and sweet. There is no need to add on any flavoring. I only added water to this mix after cutting them into small chunks.

This is very simple, and the old cucumber can be replaced with winter melon as well.

It is not necessary to eat too much food if you know how to conserve your energy. This does not mean inactivity, it just means that you shall not waste your brain power thinking about greed, anger and hatred. Instead, think about how to help others, how to benefit others and what good is the outcome of the actions that you are about to take. You will be surprised at how light you feel and how little food you actually need.
