Chunky lunch

I had some knife skills practice when I prepared today's lunch.

You see, there are 2 potatoes, half a carrot, half a cucumber and a mug of frozen mixed veggies. I used only one single knife for all that skin peeling, slicing and cutting to cubes. 

Pretty successful in this sense, as I peeled off the skins of the potatoes and carrot with this single knife. Then I also cut the cucumber and carrot into long cubes, plus slice the potatoes... also with this same knife. I gave it the honour of serving me so well, tonight I shall reward it with some sharpening. 

So, all these in a pot in the morning and I just added water to it. Let it boil and once the water is really boiling, turn off the stove and let it sit. I did not asd any salt or sauce, because I am starting to enjoy the natural tastes of the vegetables very much. And yes, no oil at all.
