Bottle gourd story

Today's lunch was a mistake! While bottle gourd has lots of vitamins and nutrients, it certainly does not taste good being cooked with water only.
Usually I stir fry bottle gourd with oil, soy sauce, sometimes with dried prawns or dried squids, but today I thought I would try it with water just like how I have been cooking. No good. It is literally tasteless.

Nevertheless, it is nutritious especially with the addition of the carrot and tomato. Maybe the taste was destroyed by the tomato, who knows? But today's lunch is a mistake. I must apologize to everyone who reads my blog today, for you may be disappointed as there is no fantastic recipe... only a lesson on what not to do with bottle gourds.
