Penang is the birth place of the legendary P. Ramlee, the great mastermind director that steered the golden era of Malaya’s movie industry. His legendary figure inspired many people including myself, especially during the time when I was studying movie production in the university as my major specialty.

When I first learned about the cafe, I was a bit skeptic about it. I didn’t want to try it because it featured P. Ramlee, and I didn’t want to create any negativity in my mind for the legend who once inspired me. But I did, anyway, when I saw good google reviews of the cafe.

To date, I went there twice. Once with friends, and once with my boyfriend’s nephew and nieces. For both, I would give it 6 stars if the highest rating is 5 stars!

Value for money, yes. Ambience, yes. Service, yes. The only thing is the location, it is hard to find a parking space there. But that is okay, for the walk is worth it each time.
