Uncle Albert's Traditional English Fish and Chips

We were at Uncle Albert's for my birthday celebration, a simple occasion with the two most important people of my life: my mom and my boyfriend. We wanted to go to a place where we each can have whatever we liked without having to spend a bomb, and Uncle Albert was a good choice.

I like the food there. The portion was quite big, actually, and they do t

taste good too. But what captured me more is the restaurant's decorations.

The details of the decoration was extensive if you really take the time to look at it. I remembered looking at the decorative lights, the wallpaper and the furniture. The concept is really good if you ask me, except that that day, despite our registration, we were given a seat right near the front door.

But that is ok too, because we get to look into the kitchen. I have a curious tendency to look into the kitchen, because I like to see the hustle and bustle of the kitchen atmosphere as the chef and all the kitchen helpers work their way to prepare the nicest food for the patrons.

I would give this place a 4-stars, nearing 5, perhaps. The one star that is not there is because this place is a bit too public, that's all. It caters to families, so that is fine too.
