Coffee Elements

I had a bad headache. That morning, I did not yet have my coffee, and my head was pounding so hard it felt like my brains were coming out from me anytime.

So, I went to get myself a quiet lunch alone after doing some chores. Was walking around All Seasons Place at Farlim, and stopped from one restaurant to another to look at their menu. Nobody came to serve me at the lots on ground floor, maybe because I was alone and wearing some worn-out t-shirt and khaki shorts, so nobody bothered to even look at me as I checked out their menu.

Then I wandered upstairs. Might as well try Coffee Elements, since I have never tried that before. Stepping inside, I was greeted by this young man at the counter who told me that I may take a look at their menu while seated instead of standing there at the counter.

So, I chose a seat very near to the counter. My head was still pounding, but I started to look at the menu.

Not bad for a homely cafe. I chose something that I feel okay with the online ratings and reviews, and went to the counter to order. I think my headache was creaming itself, because the young man asked if my Cappucino shall include an extra shot. Why not?

Indeed, the Cappucino managed to clear my headache within the next hour, and I am indebted with the young man's attention to this detail, which got me into a deeper addiction to coffee with extra shots. Although there is not much taste to the iced cappucino, the extra shot did its magic. This is an addiction that I need to work on, because I cannot go by a day without extra shots now. It may be McCafe, Starbucks or even my own coffee. Everything must have an extra shot!

The above is the lunch that I ordered. I liked the salad. It was a simple meal. The chicken had no skin, but I guess this is normal for restaurants establishing a healthy reputation.

On a side note, I thought that it would be a nice, quiet restaurant. I was wrong. Besides the sound of the whirling coffee machines, the patrons were pretty loud too. It sort of destroyed the ambience that it tried to create.

Will I go back again? It would have been an easier choice if there was more silence in the ambience.

Ratings? I give this place a 3.5 stars with an additional plus 0.5 stars, maybe because I'm a bit picky with food and the environment. The 0.5 stars additional is for the young man who took my orders for asking me about the extra shot that cured my headache.
