Pork soft ribs HOT recipe

I promised to share the recipe if it is good. So here it is, and yes, boosting my confidence with this success.

My colleague said that it smells lovely when she walked in seeing me having lunch. But she did ask why is it so dark coloured.

The dark colour comes from the ingredients, the flavoring, of course. Pork ribs are not dark. But we can always look at what I added and how I cooked it. So, here goes.

Pork soft ribs (means not those with the big rib bones, but those small bones)

Marinating ingredients:

Tumeric powder, just nice to cover thinly

Cinnamon powder, just a dash will do

A bit of sesame oil

A bit of soy sauce

Vegetarian Mushroom Sauce (you may use Oyster sauce, I don't have them at home because I am usually vegetarian)

Cili paste, as much as you like.

Marinade overnight.

Bring to the halogen oven for cooking at 230 deg Celsius for 30 to 40 mins, depending on the size of the ribs chunk you have.

The result is this blackish dish without any sauce. This happens when you cook without dipping oil and in the oven as well. I usually do not encourage too much oil in cooking because it tastes yucky.

Well, a promise kept and fulfilled. Enjoy this recipe!
